The Millwood

Brief: Recently reopened in Glasgow’s Southside,
The Millwood needed a refresh to their brand and social presence in order to resonate with new target audiences and bring footfall into the newly opened pub. Queer-owned, the bar aims to be an inclusive and welcoming space for all, with a strong focus on the LGBTQIA+ community.

Response: The Southside community of Glasgow boasts a vibrant and welcoming arts, sports and culture scene. Diverse and creative, the community supports local businesses and fosters inclusivity. The vision aims to reflect this spirit by creating an open space for Glasgow’s subcultures, where everyone belongs.
Branding limitations present a challenging brand revamp.
In this case, I focused on creating a vision through photography and design elements that encompass a fluid, modern and unpinned brand ID.
